American Martial Arts Academy ("AMAA," "we," "us") runs amaa-usa.com and the AMAA Learning Center at 15 McCoy Place in Simi Valley, California. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us. When you book a free trial class, request a tour, fill out a Learning Center enrollment form, apply for a job, contact us or place a shop order, we collect what you enter. That can include your name, phone number and email address, your child's name, age, grade and school, and any notes you add.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site and service providers may collect basic technical information such as browser type, device, pages visited and approximate location, using cookies or similar tools.
We use your information to answer questions; schedule trial classes, tours and enrollment; run our classes, camps and after-school program; keep families updated; process shop orders; review job applications; and understand how our website is used so we can improve it and measure our advertising. We do not sell your personal information.
Our website is meant for parents and guardians. Information about children is provided by a parent or guardian, and we use it only to run our programs. We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through our website. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
We share information only with service providers that help us run the academy and this website, such as our website and form host, our class scheduling and booking system, and payment processors for shop orders. They may use it only to provide services to us. We may also share information when required by law or to protect the safety of our students and staff.
We may use cookies and tools such as Google Analytics and advertising pixels (for example from Google or Meta) to understand site traffic and measure our ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we have about you or your child, or to stop sending you marketing messages. California residents may have additional rights under state law. Email info@amaa-usa.com or call (805) 587-9999 and we'll take care of it.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
